This Privacy Policy explains how Yuri Koshiishi ("we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you use 1RM Calculator, including its app and website (the "Service"). It describes our practices and does not replace separate consent where required.

Information We Handle

Workout records on your device: Exercises, weights, repetitions, RPE, estimated one-rep maxes, record dates, and preferences such as unit, language, and theme. The app stores these only on your device. We do not operate servers that receive or store them, and there is no account.
Purchase information: Product, subscription, transaction, and entitlement information needed to provide paid features, linked to an anonymous app-user identifier generated by our purchase provider. The app stores handle payment details; we do not receive your full payment-card number.
Crash and diagnostic information: When the app crashes or records an error, crash reports include technical details such as stack traces, device model, operating system, app version, and the time of the event. Reports are linked to the anonymous app-user identifier and to whether paid features are active.
Support communications: Email addresses, messages, and any details you choose to send us.
Website requests: Our hosting provider processes technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and secure the website.

The app does not use advertising networks, and it does not collect your precise location or contacts. Promotional banners in the free version link to our own apps and are not personalized.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

provide the calculator, history, and other features you use;
validate purchases and manage access to paid features;
investigate crashes and errors and improve stability;
respond to support requests;
meet legal obligations and resolve disputes.

Service Providers and Disclosures

We use providers for the following functions:

Google and Firebase: Crash reporting (Firebase Crashlytics), using crash diagnostics, device and app information, and the anonymous app-user identifier.
RevenueCat: Purchase validation and access to paid features, using the anonymous app-user identifier, purchase records, and device and app information.
Apple and Google Play: App distribution, payments, subscriptions, review prompts, and related account services. These providers also process information independently under their own policies.
Website hosting and email providers: Delivery of the website and handling of support email on our behalf.

We may disclose relevant information when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and safety. If the business is transferred through a sale, merger, or reorganization, personal information may transfer with it, subject to applicable protections and notice requirements.

Exporting and Sharing

When you export your history as a CSV file, the app creates the file on your device and opens your device's share options. The file goes only where you choose to send it, and the chosen app or service handles it under its own terms.

Retention and Deletion

Workout records stay on your device until you delete them. You can delete individual records in the app, erase all records with Reset Data in Settings, or remove everything by uninstalling the app. Records are not recoverable after deletion unless you exported them.

Crash reports and purchase records held by our providers are retained according to their retention settings and as needed for the purposes described in this policy, legal obligations, or disputes. To ask about or request deletion of information associated with your app-user identifier, contact us.

Deleting the app does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel through the store where you subscribed.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on the law where you live, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to processing; or withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may also have the right to complain to your local privacy regulator.

Send requests to [email protected]. Because the app has no accounts, we may need information such as purchase details to identify records held by our providers. We respond within the periods required by applicable law and explain any applicable exceptions.

Where EEA or UK data-protection law applies, our processing relies, as appropriate, on providing the service you request, legitimate interests such as fixing crashes and preventing purchase fraud balanced against your rights, legal obligations, or consent where required.

International Processing

We operate from Japan. Our providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. Those countries' privacy laws may differ from those where you live. International processing remains subject to applicable data-protection and transfer requirements.

Children

If you believe we have collected a child's personal information without consent required by applicable law, please contact us. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, including deleting information where required.

Security

We use measures intended to protect information, including encrypted network connections to our providers. Records on your device are protected by your device's own security. No service can guarantee complete security.

Changes to This Policy

We will publish updates with a revised date and notify you of material changes through an appropriate channel. Where a new use requires consent, we will request it before that processing begins.
